day one blogging

hello, its my first day to blog (what a strange word).  Im interested in exploring the process of making children's books and illustration in general. I'm also interested in childhood, the process to becoming an adult, and retaining the wonderful things about being a kid. Like the attention to detail you have when your a kid...and that everything is exiting and oh so fascinating! I think adults are living a bit to fast, and not enjoying the small, lovely quiet things.. like letter writing (not blogging). i think about it all, and come back to this page with something a little more tangible .. i have lots more ideas... x sally
